The official school days have not started yet but I could feel how it will look likes to us. How it will really change our schedule especially in the morning hours. Last night, I trimmed my daughter’s hair, trimmed her fingernails and toe nails and she took a bathe. Why she was doing all those things? It is because she is going to go to school tomorrow before 8:00 a.m. for the first day of their Kindergarten camp. Before I head to bed I made sure I had her clothes to wear ready for tomorrow, her lunch bag and things that need to bring.

The plan had changed. Our neighbor was so kind enough to offer their services. Her daughter that lives to a different are will come here to pick our daughter up. Then, our neighbor will goes to the school to pick up our daughter at the same time to pick up her granddaughter. That plan was in place and did not changed until lasts night. Our daughter was having the ” I don’t want to go to school” syndrome. No matter how we told her about her best friend (neighbor’s granddaughter) is going to the same school and there will be other kids and they will have all the fun. She was not convinced. And kept insisting that she does not want to go to school.

As a parents, it was a problem that we could see. We knew we have to do something about it. Oh, gosh she is only five and only in Kindergarten. We do not want her to dislike school. Hubby decided not to go to work early tomorrow. We are going to take our daughter to school, get her use to the school environment and to her classmates. She is very friendly and can easily get along with other kids. We are crossing our fingers that when we get to the school and when she sees her best friend and the rest of her classmates she will forget us. I am glad the school has the kindergarten camp helping the kids for their transition.
