We are fortunate to own a generator. It has been so useful to us whenever the power goes off . We have the kids and they are afraid of the dark.

My husband fixes cars for a living. He has the right size of garage that is full of tools and machines.  Though, he is not a self employed but  he has his own tools to fix our cars and he does accept work at home too for additional income. Our neighbors knew what he does for a living.  They would asked him to fix their cars whenever problems occur. That’s why hubby buying new tools and updating his machines. He has the two big air compressors that are placed in laundry room. He found it very inconvenient to go in and out of the house every time he needs the air compressors on. The problem is, he could not fit them in his garage because of their sizes. Now, he is searching for a place that sells air conditioning compressors that are handy, portable that he can easily transfer from one place to another.

Doing and fixing things by yourself means you are saving a lot of money. To make it happens, you must have the tools, machines or equipment that you will need. Just like my husband, he does the installing and fixing things by himself.
